THINKING AHEAD

Thinking_ahead_head

Thinking Ahead is a nationwide campaign organised by the the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) and its members to mobilise the support of the people of Ireland to address the crisis in our neurological care services.

The NAI is the national advocacy umbrella for neurological care in Ireland. It represents over 30 non statutory organisations working with people with neurological conditions.

Neurological conditions affect over 700,000 people in Ireland and include many common, as well as rare and genetic conditions. Neurological conditions can affect almost every aspect of a persons life and those of their family.

Our neurological care services lag dramatically behind other European countries which means that people with neurological conditions can’t get the kind of care routinely available in other countries.
